Now, some build notes:

Regarding the use of acetone, it's not the most dangerous chemical in the world (it's used in nail varnish remover for example) but it's always a good idea to wear suitable gloves when handling it and be in a well ventilated environment during its use so you don't breathe in the fumes. It's also worth noting that the vapours themselves are very flamable, so keep sparks and open flames well away from your work area during use. Again, this is why it's important to be in a well ventilated environment.

Hinestly ive been thinking a lot about the fact that PC cases dont really need to be designed the way they are. It could be anything you want as long as all the components are there.

For the fans for the heatsink and the graphics card how come you didn't just make a 3D printed slanted vent so it could stay uniform to the table but also get air directly to each of them 83c kind of hot

You are living my dream job. I love creating new things and building things. I just know this one is too advanced for me right now.

i am a chemist and work for basf. please note that not all epoxy resins are the same. also note that epoxy resin has a yellowing effect due to uv radiation. therefore, before buying, clarify what the resin will be used for (visible or not, as a design object) and choose the resin accordingly. otherwise, choose a protection with for example polyurethane. also, for some, the dew point must be taken into account.

  • Denton Fender
    Denton Fender14 วันที่ผ่านมา

As an alternative to all those fans for cooling, maybe you could have used the giant sheet of Aluminum on the bottom of the table as a large heat sink. Might have worked just as well as positive air pressure cooling from the fans. The steel legs would of also transferred heat into the air but not as well as Aluminum.

  • Denton Fender
    Denton Fender14 วันที่ผ่านมา

Need to sand the steel legs on that table. The back ones look like they have some rust on them. And coat them with some clear non gloss polyurethane.

4:26 or a wood rasp. In the u.s., that type of tool is called a "shinto" saw rasp... not sure why it's called "shinto" though... Like, I know the particular design popular in the u.s. came from Japan, but I don't know why "shinto" was attributed to it.
