Building a spectacular DIY 'desk PC' (it can fold!)

Ever wanted to build a PC into a desk but not known where to start? Well, in this project video I'll be showing you exactly how to build a unique folding desk PC that brings LOADS of practical benefits to the table. Enjoy!

The project resources can be found exclusively on Patreon at the moment, simply for ease on my part as I'm still setting up a store. You can sign up, download it, and then cancel if you wish - it's the same price as before:

Big thanks to the various manufacturers for sending their stuff over for the build...

I just wanted to ask if sound insulation might be a possible extra option but just as quick as that idea came I was like "no that'd probably be counter productive because it keeps heat in too" I must say if watching your videos taught me anything, then it is how to keep my electronics properly cooled.

WD doesn't stand by their product. I bought 500gb SSD, their own software was not even compatible with their own SSD. After speaking with WD customer service, they were less than useful, kept putting the blame on my system was the reason why WD software wasn't recognizing WD hardware, try to figure that one out? I have a Samsung evo 500gb, had no problem with the install, software or hardware. I couldn't believe how WD SSD was not compatible with with WD SSD. I was so frustrated with my purchase, that I ask to be reimbursed for this purchase, they had no problem reimbursing me as long as I paid for the return shipping, I was like what? Why should I pay for return shipping when it's your product that is working with each other. Then they said, we can pay for the return shipping but your name will blacklist on all WD product warranty. I ask what would that mean? They replied that if I buy WD product or purchase a system that has WD product all warranty will be automatically voided if I have a problem. I couldn't believe my ears on what WD customer service propose. I never had a problem with WD hdd, I always recommend it to others when build a pc along with Seagate. Maybe it was just that Customer Service rep from WD, but I keep the product, but I will never buy anything that has WD, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Everything is find when everything works, but the real test of a good company is when things don't work like they should, and it's WD product that is defective, it shouldn't be the client to pay for the return shipping a WD defective product. I would of been out half the SSD cost for returning it, that's not right or fair for a customer. FYI: figure out the problem with the WD software and WD SSD, for some unknown reason, this SSD was only compatible with WD software that was made 3 yrs prier, this is 8 version backward, I couldn't believe it, how must up is that? I was very disappointed with WD software. WD software doesn't do anything except let you know if the WD SSD is legit, that is it. Samsung has AHCI Mode, Sata Interface Connection and OS Optimization. I don't recommend WD product to anyone, unless you are willing to pay for return for defective device.

just about completely noisefree, with an airtight watercooled system, I'd say it's pretty damn awesome. Especially since it has some really strong hardware in there, even compared to current lineup, now over 2 years later. Your PC builds are flippin amazing man!

I wonder if there would be enough room to build the PC on a shelf that is standing up(parallel to the back panel) , instead of the back panel and have that shelf on ball bearing slides (like high end kitchen ones but bigger) like one on top one on bottom, then just pull the whole thing out that way like what bee keepers do with honey combs when you need to work on it.

You bother to water cool the power delivery on the mother board but leave the power supply as is in the inner chamber? Not following the logic. The power delivery on the mother board would've been just fine if the internal rad can already handle the power supply. The diy water block was cool but overkill imo. The default heat sink would've worked equally well.

I've thought about after cooling while dehumidifier runs... Dew point is easily calculated so for a given set of conditions you can figure out when condensation will occur. I kind worry about humidity going to low and static electricity becoming a problem. I don't have the means to test this lol

One thing I would have loved to see was for the M.2 SSD to be included in the loop, since it was so cool to see the motherboard chipset was included in the loop via clever DIY it would have been great to see the SSD included too!
