    isn't this the brightest panel in the world wouldn't tv manufacturers line up for it i am confused as to why noone seems to care it's like as if he just invented a genuine hovercar that doesn't use any propeller, tv manufacturers are struggling to increase nits and this is 10 times more than the brightest tv in the world.

    Brightness is not linear. The way our eyes work. It's probably 4000 nits as that's double the brightness of 1000.

    it'd be cool if it had a voltage regulator that is controlled by a brightness sensor, so it automatically adapts its brightness when the sun goes down / gets covered by clouds etc.

    Changing the voltage of LEDs usually changes the color temperature as well. You would be better of using a PWM to control their brightness.

    Honestly, regarding almost all of your projects, it just shows companies rely on gimmicks and branding to charge hundreds or thousands of dollars over the actual cost. Like, it's possible to make a TV like this with for under 400, and maybe a more conventional one for under 1k, but like you said if a company were to build it - it would be 5000. Geeze. Great work though!
