I can made somethin 2 do this job ,but so much cheaper, like way cheaper, like that's stupid cheaper, beside inverter wasn't included, so he lied, it can't power up the tv or enything ac ,unless u have a expensive high power inverter, n it works with 12v dc,n it's 50v so v regulator won't let u get more power than, like 200w , 50 v was a really bad idea, i can go on ,so many things r rong with it, but in general, totally not worth it.

Wow, wait, what? That last bit about powering a house (essentially) for a few days made me think of two things. Building at least two bigger (though still carry-able) units and wondering around looking for random (but free) public power points to charge the cases up then going home and enjoying the free electricity. Two days of essential electricity is a hell of a lot of energy! Am I missing something? My first "wait, what?!" moment was when you said you could run the microwave for an hour. I thought "yeah you might get a few minutes out of it, big deal" but wrong. Fascinating and totally unexpected. Q. How long does it take for this unit to charge from flat-ish? Depending on where my "free" source of power is and how much I want to take away with me, some sort of roll away trolley or sack truck might be needed while I casually plug it in and wait. Some people could plug it in at work and take their free electricity home with them. This is magnificent! What about solar charging? Take too long? All day collecting from the sun while at work will surely grab something. My mind is tingling with possibilities which I'm guessing is the whole point of your video. Thanks.

take this with you, open your laptop, pretend you're charging your laptop, charge your laptop from this unit at the same time, stay there 2 to 3 hours with friends, look like youre working on a project. This could maintain the same place same scenario. After a month, another place! That being said that amount of electricity isn't that cheap in the long run. So as a joke its fine, but dont do it to small business owners

You have to create a solar panel thing, so you can charge this even if you don't have a plug available... It also should be able to work like a UPS, so you can have this plugged in forever and if the power goes out, the device will continue to work...

Dude this is perfect! I was looking for a DIY Pack for my astronomy equipment, Specifically Astrophotography which uses so many electrical devices. However, I believe I mainly just need 12V, but I'm new to this so I have do more drawing board work to see how many of which outlets I would need. Thanks for this! Then again the welders and rivet guns are things I don't have and will bring the cost up. Then again equivalent store bought versions with way less capacity are about $500. So I will def be looking into the pros and cons thank you so much! Is there a schematic that you have for this please?

I was thinking about giving it a go for the exact same use case as yours. But I definitely neither have the skills nor the tools required to do such a build. Additionally, this looks dangerous to do myself without having any knowledge in electrical components or soldering. Well I guess I'm back looking at retail battery packs (why are they so goddamn expensive!)

An excellent battery pack. My next step is to price everything out. I would consider using aluminum ( or brass) corner edging instead of wood for durability. Even rubber edging is available. Do you think I can get this past security at an airport? I’d rather carry it on. 😂 Yes, this is a good project. Thanks for posting it.
